Shapes song with Booba

A Day Full of Shapes
Booba woke up one morning feeling extra cheerful. As he stretched, he noticed the window in his room was shaped like a rectangle. He blinked, curious. “Hmm,” he thought, “shapes are everywhere!” With a clap and a giggle, Booba decided to spend the day singing about shapes and teaching his friends how fun they can be.
Booba’s Circle Song
In the garden, Booba found his favorite ball rolling on the grass. It was perfectly round. He strummed his toy guitar and sang:
🎵 “Circle, circle, rolling free,
Round as the sun and the moon can be.
A wheel, a coin, a cookie too,
Circles are everywhere for me and you!” 🎵
Loola the parrot flapped her wings in a circle above, while Hedgehog curled up into a ball and rolled around, making everyone laugh.
The Square Song
Next, Booba spotted a toy block with four equal sides. He tapped his drum and sang:
🎵 “Square, square, strong and neat,
Four straight sides, so firm, so sweet.
A window, a gift, a box of toys,
Squares bring shapes to girls and boys!” 🎵
Mr. Rat joined in by holding up a slice of square bread. Together, they all clapped their hands four times to match the four sides.
The Triangle Song
Then Booba saw a sandwich on a plate, cut into a neat triangle. He plucked the strings of his guitar and sang:
🎵 “Triangle, triangle, pointy and tall,
Three sides only, that’s not all.
Like a roof or mountain high,
Triangles reach into the sky!” 🎵
The parrot perched on the sandwich and squawked, “Three, three!” Booba held up three fingers and the group chanted, “One, two, three!” with the beat.
The Rectangle Song
Booba skipped to the door and noticed it was longer than it was wide. He clapped and sang:
🎵 “Rectangle, rectangle, long and wide,
Two short, two long, side by side.
Books, doors, and beds we know,
Rectangles help the shapes all grow!” 🎵
Hedgehog lay flat on the ground like a rectangle while Mr. Rat held up a book to show another example.
The Star Song
As the evening approached, Booba looked up at the twinkling sky. A shiny star sparkled down at him. He picked up his tambourine and sang:
🎵 “Star, star, shining bright,
Five happy points in the sky at night.
Twinkle, twinkle, what a sight,
Stars make the darkness full of light!” 🎵
Loola fluttered her wings like sparkling points, and everyone clapped to the twinkling rhythm.
The Shape Parade
With all the songs learned, Booba had an idea. “Let’s make a parade!” he thought. Each friend chose a shape to carry:
Booba held his circle ball.
Loola perched on a square block.
Mr. Rat carried the triangle sandwich.
Hedgehog balanced a rectangle book.
Above them, stars twinkled in the night sky.
Together they marched through the garden, singing all the shape songs in one big medley. Their laughter and music filled the night, turning learning into a party.
Home with Happy Shapes
When the parade ended, Booba curled up under his blanket, still humming the shape song. He looked at the star outside his window and smiled. Shapes weren’t just in books — they were everywhere around him, waiting to be discovered and sung about.
With that happy thought, he drifted off to sleep, dreaming of new adventures full of circles, squares, triangles, rectangles, and stars.
