Learn big and small with Booba

Learn big and small with Booba

A Curious Idea

One morning, Booba was playing with his toys in the living room. He noticed his big teddy bear sitting beside a tiny toy mouse. Booba tilted his head and thought, “Hmm… big and small! Maybe today I can teach my friends about opposites!”

With a clap of his hands, Booba began his adventure of exploring big vs small in the funniest ways possible.

Big Teddy, Small Mouse

First, Booba picked up his giant teddy bear and placed it next to the tiny toy mouse. He spread his arms wide to show “BIG!” and then scrunched them close to show “small.”

“BIG teddy, small mouse!” he giggled. Hedgehog rolled by, nodding as if he understood. Loola the parrot squawked, “Big! Small!” and copied Booba’s funny actions.

Big Ball, Small Ball

Next, Booba found two balls in his toy box — one large and bouncy, the other tiny like a marble. He bounced the big ball high, then rolled the little one softly on the floor.

“BIG ball, small ball!” he shouted proudly. Hedgehog chased the little ball while Mr. Rat tried to balance on the big one, wobbling and falling with a squeak. Everyone laughed until their tummies hurt.

Big Chair, Small Stool

Booba then climbed onto a tall chair. He stretched his arms to show how high up he was. Beside it sat a small wooden stool. He hopped onto the stool and crouched down low.

“BIG chair, small stool!” he demonstrated, switching back and forth so quickly that Loola squawked in rhythm: “Big! Small! Big! Small!”

Big Tower, Small Tower

In the playroom, Booba built two towers with toy blocks. One tower was tall, almost reaching his shoulders. The other was tiny, made of just two blocks.

“BIG tower, small tower!” he clapped. Suddenly, Hedgehog bumped into the big tower, and it tumbled down with a crash! Everyone gasped, then burst out laughing. Booba quickly rebuilt it, showing that big or small, both towers could be fun.

Big Fruit, Small Fruit

Mr. Rat pulled out his basket of snacks. Inside was a giant watermelon and a tiny strawberry. Booba held up the watermelon with both hands, wobbling from its weight. Then he popped the little strawberry into his mouth in one bite.

“BIG fruit, small fruit!” he chuckled, patting his tummy. Hedgehog squeaked happily, and Loola squawked, “Yum-yum!”

A Funny Opposite Game

After showing so many examples, Booba had an idea. “Let’s play an Opposites Game!” he thought. He shouted “BIG!” and stretched out his arms. Everyone else copied him. Then he shouted “SMALL!” and curled into a tiny ball.

The friends played again and again, switching between big and small poses until they all rolled on the floor laughing. Even the parrot flapped her wings wide for “BIG!” and tucked them in close for “SMALL!”

A Big Surprise, Small Gift

Just when Booba thought the day couldn’t get better, his friends brought out a surprise. Behind the curtain was a big colorful box tied with ribbons. Inside, they placed a tiny wrapped gift just for Booba.

He opened the small gift to find a shiny golden button that sparkled in the sunlight. “Big box, small gift!” he clapped, hugging his friends tightly.

Ending with a Song

To finish their lesson, Booba strummed his toy guitar and sang:

🎵
“Big and small, we see them all,
A giant bear, a mouse so small.
Big balloon and small red ball,
Opposites are fun for all!”
🎵

Everyone joined in, dancing around the room, chanting “Big! Small! Big! Small!” in rhythm.

Home with Happy Opposites

As the sun set, Booba looked around the room. Everywhere he saw big and small things — big windows, small cups, big pillows, small toys. He realized opposites made the world fun and interesting.

That night, as he curled up under his big blanket with his small teddy tucked beside him, Booba dreamed of teaching more opposites — tall vs short, fast vs slow — in new adventures to come.
